Detroit's Finest- Our Top Ten Places To Eat in DETROIT

Good food is ALWAYS a good thing! Besides music, food is a universal gift that links all walks of life. I enjoy trying new dishes and places that excite my senses. In no particular order, here is RDW Creations top ten list, of Detroit's Finest places to grub!



TOP TEN

  1. HUNGRY HOUSE- Located on the East Side of the D, this place is a premier spot for great food! Choose from Lamb Chops, house pasta dishes or my favorite- fried shrimp! The zip sauce is a must on the side!

  2. DETROIT ONE CONEY- Located on the West Side, and near Downtown Detroit, this is my favorite coney in the area. The food is always hot and fresh. Try my fav- raisin bread french toast! YUMMY!

  3. GRATIOT GRILL- Located near McDougall street, this place is another banger with excellent service! This is my go-to spot on any given day. Try the cornbeef or philly cheesesteak.

  4. GUS FRIED CHICKEN- THE BEST chicken in the D by far! Nice and juicy, cooked in peanut oil. You can't go wrong with the fried green tomatoes, and sweet potato pie!

  5. ROYALE WITH CHEESE- Located in Midtown, this place is a hidden gem. If you are a Pulp Fiction fan, you will love it here. Try the Royale Fries.

  6. LA PECORA NERA- Located off Washington Blvd near Park street, this place has great subs and homemade sauces. Try the cornbeef breakfast sandwhich w/fried egg!

  7. CADILLAC SQUARE DINER- Located near Campus Martius, this is a great place for a nice summer lunch. Try their house Cadillac salad.

  8. STARTERS BAR and GRILL- Who hasn't eaten here? The whole menu is fire! Starters is truly one of Detroit's Finest!

  9. SHANGRI-LA- Located off Cass, this place has a different kind of vibe you will enjoy. Try the mango shrimp!

  10. WHITE CASTLE'S- Located off Davidson near Livernois. A fast food hood spot, with FRESH, HOT burgers no matter what time of day.
